Up to date the Institute is the sole and unique institution that covers the research, production, processing and trade of medicinal plants and herbal products and dietary supplements, establishing a tradition of more than sixty five years.<br \/>\nInstitute\u2019s activities are scientific research and development, production process and commercial activities, including two Institute\u2019s own herbal pharmacies. Institutes products include syrups, capsules, herbal drops, teas, cosmetic preparations, oils, cr\u00e8mes, honey based preparations etc.<br \/>\nThe issue of medicinal plants engages a significant number of M.Sc. and Ph.D. researchers in pharmaceutical, agricultural, chemical and biological sciences, as well as specialists and graduates of different expert backgrounds. Institute\u2019s laboratories are equipped with modern analytical facilities for performing scientific researches and control of all the Institute\u2019s products.
